Janet Preston, JDD

Each of us has unique gifts and talents which bring value to our personal and business lives. I am an attorney by training, specializing in identifying the strengths and deficits in individuals and developing plans to support them and optimize their performance. I have developed these skills through the years as a corporate finance attorney and as a civil rights attorney focused on students with disabilities. I enjoy problem solving and helping others to find opportunities and resources for personal growth in the pursuit of specific goals. Goal setting is easy when you are able to view your career in multiple dimensions. My approach is methodical and based on skill development, sprinkled with humor and encouragement. I received my law degree from Vanderbilt University and my undergraduate business degree (BBA) from Emory University.

I am a trained negotiator. I believe in the power of coaching to help individuals identify their strengths and weaknesses, build skills through the attainment of specific objectives, and ultimately attain specific professional goals. Through this process, I will partner with you as you work toward achieving your greatest potential. My approach is one of accompaniment and support through coaching. I look forward to the journey with you.
